SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Springer will publish post-proceedings of the conference in the LNBIP series. Therefore authors must submit manuscripts using the LNBIP style. See the Instructions for LNBIP Authors for style files and paper preparation guidelines (menu at right) on the Springer website.

The page limit for submitted papers (as well as for final, camera-ready papers) depends on the type of submission:

  • Regular research papers: 16 pages (full paper in the LNBIP volume)
  • Work-in-progress papers: 8 pages (short paper in the LNBIP volume)
  • Conceptual or visionary papers: 8 pages (short paper in the LNBIP volume)
  • Experience reports: 8 pages (short paper in the LNBIP volume)

It is possible that some submitted regular research papers will only be accepted for presentation at the conference and publication in the LNBIP volume as short paper, in case of which their length must be reduced to 8 pages.

Please note that:

  • Manuscripts not submitted in the LNBIP style or exceeding the page limits will not be reviewed and automatically rejected.
  • A paper submitted to CONFENIS 2012 may not be under review for any other conference or journal during the time it is being considered for CONFENIS 2012.

Submission to CONFENIS 2012 will be electronically managed via EasyChair. When submitting their paper, authors will be asked to indicate the type of submission (regular research paper, work-in-progress paper, conceptual or visionary paper, experience report) and select minimally 1 and maximally 3 topic areas.
